Interdisciplinary publication on Global Virtual Teamwork

Together with Tobias Blay, Sofia Schöbel, Max Reinwald, Julia Zeller-Lanzl, Fabian Jintae Froese, Helene Tenzer, Alfred Presbitero, Mari-Klara Stein, Vasyl Taras, and Lutz Kolbe, Tim Heubeck examines how global virtual work is understood and researched from the perspectives of international business, business informatics, and human resource management.</p> <p>The article shows that research on global virtual work has so far been strongly influenced by disciplinary perspectives. While international business primarily addresses global, institutional, and cultural frameworks, business informatics focuses on digital technologies and infrastructures. Human resource management, in turn, considers work-related aspects such as skills, leadership, teamwork, and new work arrangements.</p> <p>The article shows that research on global virtual work has so far been strongly influenced by disciplinary perspectives.
