Contents overview
This module addresses key management topics concerning the fundamental strategic direction of an entire organization. Specifically, it examines the management functions of planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling, covering both their strategic and operational aspects. For each of these five functions, the theoretical foundations are presented and complemented by current, practical applications. The value of these theories—including their relevance to actual management practice—is explained and conveyed. The course outlines the central frameworks of management and strategy theory within the context of these five management functions.
Competencies
Students analyze strategic and operational management tasks under conditions of uncertainty, apply theoretical models to solve practical problems, and evaluate their utility and limitations for corporate management. Students critically reflect on the responsibility associated with management decisions within economic and societal contexts.
